Maggie Gyllenhaal (Crazy Heart – Oscar nomination, The Dark Knight, Secretary) is to play the titular role in Hugo Blick’s (The Shadow Line) seven-part drama series The Honourable Woman for BBC Two and Sundance Channel.
The Honourable Woman tells the story of one woman’s personal journey to right the wrongs conducted in a past life. As a young girl, Nessa Stein(Gyllenhaal) witnessed the assassination of her father by the Palestinian Liberation Organisation. Now in her thirties, Nessa is at the forefront of the Middle East peace process. But when she awards a lucrative contract to a Palestinian businessman, who is later found dead, she finds herself under the close scrutiny of Whitehall and the Secret Intelligence Service.

Batman vs. Superman now has official title and artwork
The eagerly anticipated follow up to Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel at last has an official title; Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. With the release date set for 6th May 2016, the film has an all star cast including Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred.
